Itinerary

Travel aboard the Tilt Train to the Fraser Coast for your whale watching adventure. Arrive at Maryborough West and transfer by coach to Hervey Bay, renowned for world-class whale watching encounters. Stay the next three nights at Ramada Resort by Wyndham Hervey Bay.

Today, set off on a full day guided 4WD tour of K’gari. Explore the island’s stunning landscapes and learn about its unique natural and cultural heritage. Swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake McKenzie, the island’s most stunning perched lake. After lunch travel along 75 Mile Beach and discover the charm of the Maheno Shipwreck and stop at Eli Creek. 

This morning, cruise aboard the Tasman Venture, a purpose-built catamaran offering an unforgettable, close-up whale watching experience with majestic Humpbacks. Watch as the Humpback whales breach and tail slap in their natural playground.

Check out of your accommodation this morning. Transfer to Maryborough West railway station for the Tilt Train journey back to Brisbane.
